Together for children

We bring together children, partners, volunteers and specialists in experiences that build relationships — so every child feels seen and supported.

About the programme

The programme grew out of understanding that many of the children we support do not have access to experiences that, for other children, are a natural part of family life. Many children discover the world through their parents: they visit their workplace, hear conversations about professions, meet adults from different fields, take part in workshops, outings and creative activities.

For children growing up in vulnerable situations, these experiences are often missing. They do not always have someone to take them somewhere new, show them a working environment, or create contexts where they can learn through play, collaboration and discovery. Through this programme we bring together children, partners, volunteers and specialists — in experiences that build confidence, connect them with others, and create moments of normality, connection and belonging.

What we do, concretely

Many of the activities are built together with corporate partners and integrated into their yearly calendar:

  • Seasonal creative workshops alongside partners — Easter traditions, Children’s Day, Back to School, Halloween, Christmas and winter moments.
  • Company visits and contact with real working environments, where possible.
  • Shared activities between children, employees, volunteers and partners — and, sometimes, the employees’ own children.
  • Educational, creative and recreational experiences outside the children’s usual environment, in a safe and friendly setting.

Impact so far

The involvement of partners has meant far more than supporting a one-off activity: it has meant time, resources, spaces, materials and people involved, alongside care for how the children experience these moments. Together with volunteers, partners contributed to preparing the workshops, coordinating logistics and supporting children in new activities.

These experiences are part of the 1000+ hours of children’s participation in activities, workshops and educational experiences, and of the 300+ children who have taken part in our activities.

How you can get involved

  • As a corporate partner — give your team the chance to contribute meaningfully: workshops, visits, shared activities with the children. Details on Partners.
  • As a volunteer — to help prepare and run the workshops and events. Write to us.
  • As a donor — every experience means materials, transport and logistics. Contribute.
